 I've been writing & recording songs since the age of 12, though it wasn't 'til my late 20s that I discovered my true voice - having experienced more of love & life with all it's ups & downs. Something gave way & I began to trully express myself in ways I never dreamt possible.
My music is who I am. Without it I would have surely gone insane (or worse).
I'm not sure what category to put myself in. I've always been a loner & never belonged to any one click as far as music & art go. At times employed by different bands for my abilities as lead guitarist, I still played the role of the outcast - never fitting in, but wanting desperately for people to fall on my words.
And so it is that I am a no-hit-wonder, but quite content at being just that. I write for myself...I make the music that makes me...
And here are some of my major influences: Blue Oyster Cult, Jethro Tull, Tom Petty, Beck, Joe Jackson, Jimi Hendrix, Kiss, The Who, Pink Floyd, Soundgarden, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Frusciante, Bob Seger...To name a few.
